The first presents Hegel's theory of public administration, considering both technical and ethical aspects, its origin in the universal class and its link to the power of the monarch and the corporations. The second describes the bicameral structure of parliament, offering the characteristics, functions, and scope of power of the upper and lower chambers, while not neglecting to consider the backgrounds of the members of each. It emphasizes the ethical character of state instantiated in both the public administration and parliament. Likewise, this second section focuses its complexity on the theory of estate representation, key to the doctrine of Hegelian constitutional monarchy. Finally, the section concludes with an understanding of public opinion, understood as a sphere of information, education, and civil society participation.
2025-06-09T21:31:53+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Cuadernos de filosofíahttp://revistascientificas.filo.uba.ar/index.php/CdF/article/view/17184La The Discussion on Kantian Criticism and the Emergence of the "Better Consciousness" in the Manuscripts of the Young Schopenhauer2025-09-23T15:12:13+00:00Florencia Müllerflorenciamuller87@gmail.com
This article examines key aspects of the theoretical framework surrounding the emergence of the concept of "better consciousness" in Arthur Schopenhauer's manuscripts from his Berlin period (1811-1812). Fundamental to his project of constructing an autonomous philosophical system, this concept emerges from his engagement with Fichte's and Schelling's philosophies and his subsequent critical dialogue with Kantian thought. Schopenhauer develops his philosophical approach with the aim of establishing a genuine critical philosophy capable of demarcating the legitimate sphere of intellectual activity and distinguishing it from the domain of "better consciousness" - which represents humanity's profoundest essence and manifests beyond the boundaries of experience. However, Schopenhauer acknowledges the theoretical tension between this conception and his adherence to the epistemological limits established by Kant. Consequently, as his philosophy evolves throughout the manuscripts, the "better consciousness" gradually recedes in importance, yielding to the concept of Will, which would ultimately become the cornerstone of his mature philosophy.
2025-06-09T21:33:47+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Cuadernos de filosofíahttp://revistascientificas.filo.uba.ar/index.php/CdF/article/view/17185La The Crooked Take of Gossip on the Hydraulic Metaphors of Communication and Knowledge2025-09-23T15:12:14+00:00María Eugenia Somerseusomers@gmail.com
When the source of information is unknown and it is not possible to clearly identify the senders, receivers or the channel of a message, we are facing gossip. Thus, this phenomenon problematizes two of the most popular hydraulic metaphors of knowledge and communication: the source metaphor and the channel metaphor. The first, thematized by Hans Kellner, argues that for knowledge to be legitimate, its source must be identified. The second, objected to by Roy Harris, states that communication is transmitted from the sender to the receiver through a direct channel, without detours. It can be argued that both are part of what has been called the myth of language: as in the case of gossip, knowledge is language-dependent and therefore self-instituted, and does not function by telementation from a sender to a receiver, but is interpreted and constructed by all parties involved. The permeability of the border between the illegitimate and the legitimate suggests a relationship of complementarity between gossip and knowledge, which ultimately leads to reflection on what gives value to the information available to speakers in their daily lives.
2025-06-09T21:34:51+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Cuadernos de filosofíahttp://revistascientificas.filo.uba.ar/index.php/CdF/article/view/17186Una An Approach to the Image as Apparition2025-09-25T12:45:01+00:00 Carlos Mario Vanegas Zubiríacarlos.vanegas@udea.edu.co
This article analyzes the theoretical implications of investigating the contemporary image of art as emergence and how its study can challenge the boundaries of the discipline of art history. To achieve this purpose, we will focus on reflections and concepts Aby Warburg, Walter Benjamin, and Didi-Huberman presented in history, philosophy, and art. Among them are the idea of appearing and the operative notions of Nachleben and Pathosformel. From this perspective, it is suggested that the image is a singular apparition that can transform, question, and revitalize historical and cultural processes, especially those traversed by violence that determines the tragic character of culture. It also addresses the relevance of revitalizing the “historical intelligibility of images” and how memories and metamorphoses are linked to the sensitive character of the apparition. This paper provides a perspective on the role of the contemporary image and examines how, in its multiple transformations, we find symptoms, seismic and traumatic waves that invite us to consider the forces and forms of the past, whose reminiscences and shudders present themselves in the plasticity of the present.
2025-06-09T21:38:07+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Cuadernos de filosofíahttp://revistascientificas.filo.uba.ar/index.php/CdF/article/view/17187Lucas Soares: ¿Qué es esa cosa llamada filosofía? 2025-09-23T15:12:16+00:00Juan M.
