Resumen
Desde 1966 hasta 2023, la Misión Arqueológica Española lleva a cabo un proyecto de investigación en el yacimiento de Heracleópolis Magna (Ehnasya el-Medina), siendo el primer equipo español que ha trabajado en Egipto después de la campaña de salvamento de Nubia en la década del sesenta. Se ha excavado en varios lugares del yacimiento: las necrópolis del Primer y Tercer Periodo Intermedio y el Templo de Heryshef. Los descubrimientos han proporcionado hallazgos excepcionales que nos han permitido presentar aportaciones inéditas a la historia de Egipto.
