Abstract

This paper studies a type of forced migration to the Northeastern part of the province of Chubut in Argentina making analysis of these specific group of people life-experiences and at the same time questioning those homogeneous believes that are underlain. It also intends valuing the contribution that the scrutiny of the peculiarities of this specific group of exiles reveals. Moreover the research on the life-experience of these worker exiles uncovers the importance to consider new interpretations of the most traditional concepts that exile and migration are supposed to mean. Studying these stories from the below allows to continue replicating the life-experiences of others and to finish with those forced silences which were imposed because of repression, that in a certain manner disciplined our societies; in addition also discovering certain complicit trues that have been implicit for a long time, and showing gestures of solidarities that make us to picture a new society.
