Abstract
After attending a meeting of scientific editors the journal's director presents the issues discussed and the problems identified by the researchers involved in scientific publication. They are known by all the rules for the journals: peer review, scientific advisory councils recognized discipline, director, secretary and editorial board. Upon fulfillment of these rules, the scientific editors of Latin American countries face a number of difficulties and obstacles associated conspiring against the success and continuity of publication: failure of set frequency, lack of training in the area of scientific publishing, work overload, lack of appreciation for the research organizations in respect of native title, internationalism demands without financial or academic support to achieve it, and so on. The final conclusion about these problems is thinking that the information becomes dependent on the concentration of knowledge in a few countries.Downloads
