Open access repositories in Argentine: an update
Abstract
A basic and descriptive characterization of the Argentinean repositories of open access was carried out. Fifteen repositories were identified: seven institutional belonging to five national universities; four thematic; three of thesis and dissertations and a digital library exclusively of journals. The results show that Argentina has not public policies or mandates in relation to open access. However, it has only isolated projects generally supported by the initiative and work of librarians, most of them in the university field.Downloads
