Necessity and importance of library evaluation
Abstract
The concept of library evaluation and the context in which it becomes topical are exposed, as well as some basic definitions, the main areas and activities to be evaluated, criteria and factors for selecting indicators, the steps in evaluation process, and the applicable international standards. Some proposals to drive library evaluation are submitted.Downloads
