Abstract

The objective of the following paper is to investigate a disciplinary proposal of Geography that took place under the renamed National and People’s University of Buenos Aires (UNPBA). However, here it is not only intended to know the development of a new curriculum of the Geography degree in 1974 within the framework of the Peronist university reform (Taiana Law), but the intention is also to analyze this plan in dialogue with the Latin American project of a New Geography. Taking into account the criticism of methodological nationalism, this work aims to understand that the proposal of Geography of UNPBA was forged in a national reformist context based on Latin American links and encounters that crossed the borders of the State-Nation.
