Abstract

Recent discoveries at the site of the Temple of Millions of Years of Thutmose III have provided new information on different periods of the history of Ancient Egypt. On the one hand, the interesting data found during the excavation of the administrative building located outside the southern enclosure wall, where ostraca have given clues about the function and the daily life of the temple. On the other hand, architectural studies have been carried out in the sanctuary area of the temple, located on the upper terrace. The great false-door stela of Thutmose III made of granite, that was moved in ancient times to the temple of Medinet Habu, has been returned to its original emplacement in the chapel dedicated to the king in the sanctuary area of the temple. Likewise, additional information has been found on the burials of the First Intermediate Period and the beginning of Middle Kingdom located outside the northern enclosure wall and over the recently discovered Middle Kingdom tombs under the temple and outside the western enclosure wall.
