Samuel Beckett y Georg Trakl: dos poéticas del desencanto

Keywords: Beckett, Trakl, intertextuality, manuscripts

Abstract

Beckett was a lucid reader not only of literary sources from the past but also of twentieth-century authors. He read Georg Trakl’s poetry in the mid-1930s, as witnessed by some of his manuscripts. This essay aims to establish a series of relations between the poetics of both authors and the way in which both relate to the context of ruins around them.
