Biocell seen through the Science Citation Index ExpandedTM: analysis of presence and information consumption
Abstract
The scientific production of Biocell, a Latinoamerican journal specialized in Cell Biology, registered in the Science Citation ExpandendTM for the period 1995-2005 is studied. The 351 obtained bibliographical records are analysed through different bibliometric treatments in order to show its productive contribution, the information sources that the authors have used in connection with the topic of their works and the most interesting sources that have been used to constitute the intellectual basis of the journal.Downloads
