Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The work has not been previously published, nor has it been submitted to another journal (or an explanation has been provided in “Comments to the editor”), for which a note of responsibility for original contents must be signed.
- All the graphic material used has the proper authorization of reproduction and publication.
- The text meets the stylistic and bibliographic conditions included in Guidelines for authors, in About the journal.
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect format.
- Web addresses have been added for references where possible.
- The text has 1,5 line spacing; the font size is 12 points; italics are used instead of underlining (except for URLs); and all the illustrations, figures and tables are within the text in the place that corresponds to them and not at the end of the work.
Dossier
The dossiers are sets of 2 to 5 articles with a common theme, which must be in charge of the compiler of the dossier, under a corresponding title and with an introduction.
The style and extension rules and guidelines are the same as for articles. The compiler will be the exclusive link between the Boletín and the authors in everything related to monitoring compliance with standards, transmission of evaluations and other stages of the publication process.
Notes and Debates
It is a section dedicated to discussing a specific topic of one or more related texts. It has comments from various specialists and the response of the author of the text. A specialist may also be tasked with drafting a state of affair of the issue of a particular topic.
Reviews
It is a section dedicated to critical book reviews. It appears in all issues, and its length depends on the number of reviews that have been approved. It is sought that the reviews are critical and made by specialists, although the participation of young researchers who are carrying out their doctoral research and, therefore, are abundantly reading updated material is also encouraged. It does not consider books more than three years old or collective works, unless they have a strong thematic unity.
Copyright Notice
The copyright is transferred to the Boletín, but the authors may retrieve them and reproduce their work in other media or formats by means of a written request to the Editorial Committee. In such cases, the Boletín will be cited as the first publication of the work.
The works are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License, which allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of their authorship and initial publication in this journal.
Also, by written request to the Editorial Committee of the Boletín, the authors may separately establish additional agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the version of the work published in this journal (for example, placing it in an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication here. No commercial uses are allowed.
Privacy Statement
The names and e-mail addresses introduced in this journal shall be used exclusively for the purposes stated by the Boletín and shall not be available for any purpose other than those strictly related to the management of the Boletín.
