After half a century. The historiography and the History of Argentine Exports during the First Globalization Agustina Rayes
Abstract
One of the most serious attempts to reconstruct the Argentine export statistical data was done by Roberto Cortes Conde, Tulio Halperin Donghi and Haydée Gorostegui de Torres fifty years ago. In this paper we propose to review how the historiography has improved our knowledge about Argentine exports during the so-called First Globalisation since then: has it advanced in more reliable data? Which have been the major discussions? Which have been the main contributions? And, is there any gap?Downloads
