Abstract

In this work, an analysis of the approach linked to the experience of joint attention will be carried out from a phenomenological perspective, with the aim of unraveling the assumptions that underlie the explanation of this capacity. What role do objects play within the framework of the phenomenological perspective? How is the perception of the other conceived? Are certain perceptual abilities weighted over others to explain this ability? To do this, first of all, the classical and enactive approaches to joint attention will be described, in order to expose some problematic points. Then,  certain dimensions of the bodily experience, such as reversibility and intersensory equivalences, will be analysed in order to explain other dimensions of the joint attention.
