Abstract
Two South American novels published during the last decades of the nineteenth Century like Viaje maravilloso del Sr. Nic Nac (1875), by the Argentinian writer and naturalist Eduardo L. Holmberg and Desde Júpiter, novela orijinal (1877), by Chilean author Saint Paul (Francisco Miralles) dialog with some European planetarian novels. These south American stories happen to transform in a political speculative fiction what europeans stories do: in this texts it is possible to read questions which may have arisen in both countries during the process of institutionalization of Science and political conflicts of the stages of the Organization of the State through the perspective of writers with a scientific view as Holmberg and MirallesDownloads
