Evaluación del riesgo de una intersección vial en Ciudad de México con enfoque semiótico a través de los dispositivos para el control de tránsito
Abstract
Roads are an important part of cities' infrastructure; Its objective is to facilitate the movement of people efficiently and safely. However, in urban centers like Mexico City this is not the case, because despite the existence of road codes that regulate and control the mobility of vehicles and pedestrians on public roads, the roads have become a social problem, since traffic accidents claim thousands of lives each year. In 2018, a study was concluded from a semiotic perspective related to signaling and traffic incidents at road intersections. The objective of the research was to determine the degree to which Traffic Control Devices -DCT- (signals) were related to road accidents (Autor: 2020). This text shows the risk assessment of one of the three sites that were used as an object of study and that the Secretariat of Public Safety (SSP) of Mexico City characterized as conflictive due to the high rate of accidents.Downloads
