Control imperial Inca en Campo Morado (Quebrada de Humahuaca, Provincia de Jujuy)
Abstract
The inka occupation ofthe Quebrada de Humahuaca produced important sociopolitical transformations over local populations. The prehispanic site Campo Morado, as part of this process, would have been a strategic control site, combining military and ritual ceremonial functions. Our interest is focused on the Structure l, located at the top of the site which, because of its architectural characteristics, could be identified as a ushnu.Downloads
