Manifestaciones de un cuerpo múltiple: un acercamiento al cuerpo y la persona a partir de los toba (qom) del Chaco argentino
Abstract
The assessment of the concept given by the tobas to the body will lead us to the analysis of the life components which constitute human beings, as well as the collective processes that take part in the production of corporalizy regimes, through which the person shows itself. We will, then, see how the way in which a person is constituted is related to the flow of body fluids, of life components, and names that are to be transmitted and regulated between human and non human beings. Studying the organs' representations will enable us to explore the importance of intra-body relationships in the concept of "person", as acknowledged by the tobas, particularly the way in which the body is the emotions—thoughts centre. Furthermore, we will analyse how the Argentinean Chaco 's qoms visualize the place ofthe body in the interactions and its importance as an instrument in the creation of the intersubjective relationships.Downloads
