Archaeology through Runa and vice versa (1948-2019)
Abstract
This paper tells the context of emergence of Runa in the core of the University of Buenos Aires and the course of archaeological contributions throughout time in the magazine, looking for their relations with institutional and political changes and with the evolving of the archaeological practice in the country. Narration is structured by random temporal blocks separated in periods of more than five years in which the magazine was not published. Bibliometric analysis results are included about archaeological contributions in terms of gender and authorship composition; as well as qualitative remarks about the matters dealt with by the most prolific authors in the different historical moments.Downloads
