Analysis of Public Policies and Discussions Related to Theaters in the City of Buenos Aires During the Pandemic
Abstract
This article reflects on the measures implemented by Argentina’s national government and by the government of the City of Buenos Aires in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic to promote the reactivation of theaters. We will consider the various forms of incidence that different actors of the theater field –particularly, producers and entrepreneurs of the commercial and independent circuits– had in order to guarantee, among other actions, aid such as the granting of subsidies, assistance with the payment of salaries and the possibility of re-opening.Downloads
