Abstract

This article aproaches the relation between the mexican playwright and critic Guillermo Schmidhuber de la Mora, the spanish playwright Calderón de la Barca and his mexican follower, the poet and playwright Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, focusing on two plays by Schmidhuber: Los herederos de Segismundo (1980) and La secreta amistad de Juana y Dorotea (1998).
