Abstract

In light of research that comes from the disciplines of communication and sociology, the objective of this paper is to systematize a framework that allows us to analyze the relationships between theater, its metadiscourse and the media. This will help us lay the foundations for our investigation of particular cases, linked to activist stage practices and their relationship with the media. However, without first considering the contextual situation, we do not have the necessary basis for this analysis. This article is thus intended to provide an overview of the range of metadiscourses that arise from theater in the digital environment in order to be able, then, to conduct a case study
