Abstract

The theater, as spectacle, is made of actions and words that fly, just like the memories that transmitted by the voice; they are not a document that stays. Can it, then, propose social or artistic transformations in such transcient conditions? Thinking about this question we have written this essay, dedicating the first sections to the methodological aspects of the problem and the last ones, to the ideological and educational fundamental aspects. We follow here the dramatic and scenic proposal of Augusto Boal, who has made a great contribution to political theater.
