Abstract

Theater is a multidisciplinary art that integrates various languages in a single process. On this regard, enhancing intermediality and incorporating new mediatic resources is a constantly growing tendency in the contemporary Brazilian theatrical scene. The aim of this text is to reflect upon the plays produced in Belo Horizonte (BH) – a Brazilian city in Minas Gerais – that use diverse intermedial resources in their pro-ductions. The data analysis focuses on two groups from BH: GOM – Grupo Oficcina Multimédia and Mayombe Grupo de Teatro and their productions Aldebaran (2013) and Klássico (com K) (2013).
