Abstract

One of the most outstanding aspects of the first government of Perón (1946-1955) was its significant presence into social and political life of the Argentinian working class, causing deep changes into social structure. But the peronist imaginary left its mark not only on the political project of nation but also on the cultural field; the bursting of masses in the public sphere founded a turning point in Argentinian cultural life, generating a modernization process that brought new ways of cultural consumption.
