Abstract

This paper presents the transcription of the seven quaestiones concerning the controversia inter medicos et philosophos in Peter of Spain’s commentary on Johannitius’ Isagoge extant in the manuscript Madrid, Biblioteca Nacional 1877, ff. 24r-47v. The Isagoge was an important part of the articella, a collection of medical texts that was used as a canon for medical teaching during the 12th and 13th centuries.
